Just like its location, the Gran Hotel La Florida’s history is dramatic. Built in 1925 by prestigious Noucentista architect Ramon Raventos, but unfortunately closed during the Civil and then converted into a military hospital in 1939. However, it came to rise again in the 1950’s, reborn as a new luxury property for all to enjoy as it combined beautiful traditional and avant-garde styles inside and out. Features include spaciously elegant rooms, lovely restaurant L’Orangerie and one of the city’s sexiest pools. One of our favourites suites at the Gran Hotel La Florida  is the Spacious Sky Terrace suite designed by Coco Mat. All of the furniture within this suite has been made using natural products in order to create a genuine “sleep on nature” experience. The suite has an extensive bedroom with wenge wooden floors and a large king bed. The bathroom is made from green marble ceramic tiles from Guatemala and a has a bath designed by Philippe Starck as well as a complimentary bathrobe, slippers and L'Occitane en Provence products.

Step outside onto the terrace where you will find your dining table, sunbeds, hammocks and an amazing Jacuzzi, all of which you can enjoy with spectacular views of the Pyrenees.

Relax and unwind at Gran Hotel La Florida’s Spa by L'Occitane, a true sanctuary for all its guests. Using a wide of L'Occitane products an expert team of professionals offer  a range of massages, facials and body treatments that will leave you feeling rejuvenated. For those who want the full experience, there are options to have your massage or treatment overlooking the lagoon.

The Wellness zone at the Gran Hotel La Florida  has one of the best and most unique facilities in Barcelona, it features a sauna, steam baths, hydro massage baths ,water zone with Jacuzzi and a full range of  state of the art fitness equipment’s, plus a relaxation area and sunbeds.
