I'm a 19-year-old personal style blogger CraveGreenVelvet, Originally born and bred in London, after 12 years I moved to Essex, now I am back part-time living back in Shoreditch as well as working full time in Central London at Urban Outfitters Covent Garden! I'm an aspiring fashion stylist.

Why London? What do you love most about your city?
It' the place where you won't get judged. Everyone is super unique! I love the busy-ness of the city, the whole vibe.

What do you miss most when you are away?
Walking through the city with my headphones on at night, the office lights and friendly nightlife clashes with the dark sky and street lights. I usually miss the sound of traffic too.

What is the first thing you do when you return?
Take a bus up to the West End, & hit the Primark. See what I've been missing out on!

Where is the best place to stay (hotel wise)?
Travel-lodges are usually super cheap and in great locations! I also love Tune Hotels, they are the cheapest I've come across, the one in Kings Cross is very good! Modern, clean, but a tad small for families!

Where would you meet friends for a drink?
Usually from work, the closest is the local Weatherspoons! Very cheap, (£1.99 glass of medium white wine) and great atmosphere.

What are your favourite places for lunch?
Whilst on my lunch break at work, I often grab something from Pret A Manger, their wraps are super!
Also M&S is pretty great for lunches, both can work out rather expensive though!

And for dinner?
Sophie's Steakhouse in Covent Garden is literally amazing. I'm not a huge steak fan myself, but the rack of ribs are great.
Bubbledogs near Goodge Street, a personal favourite! They only serve gourmet hotdogs & champagne! Every girl's dream. By far the best hotdog's I've ever had!

Best place to club it up?
Shoreditch is super popular right now, but if you love to dress up, Cafe De Paris at Piccadilly Circus is a great night out! (Can get expensive! Arrive early)

Where is the best place to shop?
Tottenham Court Road I love, for the pure fact the Primark is amazing! But the market at Brick Lane on a Sunday is a must for all vintage lovers.

Where would you take a first time visitor?
For a walk down near London Bridge on a sunny evening! The views are unbeatable.

What would you tell them to avoid?
Avoid Elephant & Castle bowling alley, (It's just not worth it!) and be wary around that area!

What is the one absolute must do thing in your city and why?
You must venture in to a few museums! London have great ones: the War Museum and the Science Museum are great! I personally hate science, but the musuem so damn interesting!
