They took to bed for a week between 25-31 March in the presidential suite (Room 702) at the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel where they spent their honeymoon. The couple invited international press into their hotel room every day between 9am and 9pm and spent the day sat in bed talking about peace with signs over their bed reading "Hair Peace" and "Bed Peace". The bed-in was mentioned in "The Ballad of John and Yoko".
