Romance is taking over the whole of February as it turns out with Valentine’s making a show mid-month, and of course we can’t forget to mention that this is also the National Heart Month. So what better way to celebrate romance and good health than taking a chilled vacation with your significant other somewhere gorgeous, exotic and bound to wow the two of you?

Little Corn Island, Nicaragua
Claimed to be one of the last undeveloped and unspoiled parts of the Caribbean; located just 45 miles off the eastern shore of Nicaragua is Little Corn Island. The island is surrounded by coral reef and offers great snorkelling and diving or if you’re not a completely aquatic person, enjoy the beach an scenery on horseback.

Gozo, Malta
The Maltese islands are not what we’d call undiscovered but you have to check out the smaller Gozo Island which, believe it or not, still feels undiscovered. These islands are inside a huge bay of the larger island of Sulawesi. It apparently take a whole lot of dedication to get to this orgeous island (there’s flying, boat and car rides - we’re not even going to mention the timing) but all in all you will undoubtedly not regret the travelling because this place is just that perfect! Snorkel in the centre of Tomini Bay, known to be the calmest bay on earth. The Togian Islands are also amongst the best spots for diving in Indonesia.

Lifou, New Caledonia
Lifou is the largest of the French Loyalty Islands in the South Pacific. It remains relatively undeveloped. With some of the nicest beaches in the world you need to visit this place. Check out Peng Beach and explore its caves and creeks or take a full tour of the island. Don’t miss the cliffs at Joking, the Maceweng Vanilla Plantation and the Catholic Chapel at Easo, which dates to 1898, you can’t not love a bit of old school meets new school classics!
